We only do tree work — removals, trimming, stumps, storm cleanup and clearing — for homes and land from Howey-in-the-Hills down to the US-27 corridor and east into West Orange.
Clermont Tree Service, Start to Finish
Clermont Tree Service exists for one kind of work: getting trees off, out of, or away from Central Florida homes safely. We don't mow lawns or install pavers on the side. When you call, you're talking to people who spend every day looking at hollow oaks, beetle-hit pines, overgrown palms and grove land that has gone back to the woods.
South Lake County is a particular place to do this work. The ground is deep, loose sand. The lots climb and fall over the hills between the chain of lakes. A lot of neighborhoods were orange groves within living memory, and some of them still have the leftover trees to prove it. Then there are the newer communities along US-27, Hancock Road and Horizon West, where tight lot lines, screened pool cages and HOA rules decide how a tree can come down before anyone looks at the tree itself.
How we quote
Every job starts with a free visit. We look at the tree, the ground it's standing in, what's underneath it and which city, town or county rules apply to your address. Then you get one written price that covers the work, the cleanup and the haul-off. If we find something on the day that changes the job — a hollow we couldn't see, a buried utility line — we stop and talk to you before anything changes. We also post our typical price ranges on the homepage so you can sanity-check any quote you get, including ours.
How we work on your property
- Protection first. Plywood and mats over lawns, pavers and irrigation before equipment rolls in, and rigging set up before the first cut over a cage, roof or fence.
- The right method for the tree. Climbing, rope rigging or a crane, chosen for the tree's condition and the space — not whatever is quickest.
- Honest calls. If trimming or cabling will save a good tree, we'll say so even though a removal is the bigger ticket.
- Clean exit. Brush chipped, wood hauled, yard raked and hardscape blown off. Stump grinding is quoted as its own line so you can choose.

Our home base is Clermont, and most days we're somewhere between Minneola, Groveland and Winter Garden. We also run regularly to Montverde, Mascotte, Howey-in-the-Hills, Horizon West, Windermere, Oakland, Ocoee and Gotha. About Our Tree Company
All of South Lake County, from Howey-in-the-Hills and Montverde down through Minneola, Clermont, Groveland and Mascotte, plus the West Orange towns along SR-50 and SR-429: Winter Garden, Oakland, Ocoee, Windermere, Gotha and Horizon West. There is no trip charge anywhere on that list.
Yes. We carry liability insurance for tree work and can send a certificate of insurance to you, your HOA or your property manager before the job. If a company cannot produce one, that is a good reason to keep looking.
Yes. Removals, trimming, palms, cabling, stump grinding, storm cleanup, citrus removal and land clearing. We do not do lawn maintenance, landscaping installs or pressure washing, which is why tree work never gets squeezed in around other jobs.
We look at the species, how much of the trunk and root plate is sound, which way it leans, what it would hit if it failed, and how quickly it is declining. A laurel oak with a hollow trunk over a bedroom gets a different answer than a live oak with one dead limb over the lawn. We explain the reasoning either way.
Yes. We provide a written description of the tree, its condition and the work we recommend, along with photos, so you can attach it to an architectural review request. Once the HOA approves, we schedule the job.
